Responsibilities
The Distribution and Credit Solutions platform ("DCS") is a joint-venture in the Americas, operating at the crossroads of market and financing / advisory activities. DCS provides a one-stop shop for meeting client needs and providing comprehensive solutions in the primary and secondary markets for securitization products, loans and corporate bonds. DCS covers engineering and structuring, syndication, financing, trading and sales functions, centralizing credit origination and focusing on distribution.
The Corporate Credit Trading group makes markets and facilitates transactions in secondary market corporate bonds between investors of all types on a global basis.
Responsabilities:
- Support the trading group with the development and/or enhancement of tools to improve efficiency and precision in areas such as pricing accurracy, risk monitoring, data management, and PNL explanation
- Support the business with the development and/or production of key reports in areas such as trading statistics, customer trends, and PNL
- Liase with ITEC, data management, and other support groups locally and in Europe to understand how key systems operate, interact, and can be leveraged, and potentially enhanced, to improve operations and acheive specfic objectives
- Ensure processes are operating in a controlled environment and recommend remediation plans for identified weaknesses

- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University
- Previous experience in asset management, investment banking, or consulting is a plus
Language skills:
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Proficient in Excel (including VBA) and Python, familiarity with Power Point is a plus
- Able to manipulate and present data in manner that conveys the important results clearly
- Able to handle and prioritize multiple requests at once, and diligence to see each through to completion
- Good communication and presentation skills
The VIE assignment in a nutshellThis VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
