You will join our fast growing R&D within the backend development teams. Your specific team’s mission is to improve our engines seeking for better performances, higher maintainability and faster scalability. As a member of the team, you’ll get to work on production challenges, whether they are short term focused (e.g: improving an algo to save CPU) or shaping the future (e.g: splitting big apps in microservices) of our platform. As an intern, you’ll get to learn and grow within an international team composed of several expertises. You’ll report directly to a Senior Engineer in this team.

✏️ What you’ll do

• Work in an agile, international and multi-expertise team composed software engineers, QA and DevOps.
• Build and Deploy your applications using Gitlab
• Improve our End To End tests reliability
• Participate in upgrading our stack to the latest .NET 5 release
• Participate in our daily features development
• Learn a lot by working on one of the biggest production of the french tech!

💪 About you

Must have:

• Preparing master’s degree in computer science
• Professional efficiency in verbal and written English
• Serious doubts about the saying “Testing is Doubting”
• Passion for writing high quality and maintainable code following Software Craftsmanship principles
• Appetite for learning and technical challenge
• Curious about Microsoft .NET stack

Nice to have:

• First knowledge of software development experience on a Microsoft stack (C# .NET Standard, .NET Core 3.1)
• Know-how, or at least intuition to identify opportunities of improvement
