As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Data team, you will:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data infrastructure requirements.Automate repetitive tasksOrchestrate a seamless migration from dbt Cloud to Kubernetes, enhancing data infrastructure control and reducing operational costs.Develop tools for infrastructure as code (IaC).Implement security best practices for data storage and access controls.Create and maintain documentation for data infrastructure and operational procedures.Play a critical role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure.Work closely with the platform team to ensure the data team is following all conventions.Achieve significant cost savings through effective resource management and optimization of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.What will contribute to your success:
At least 2 or 3+ years experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role.Ability to pick up new technology concepts on the fly and discuss with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.Advanced knowledge in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Shell and PythonGood understanding of containerization, infrastructure orchestration, microservices, and information security. Good knowledge with logging and monitoring infrastructure.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environmentVery good English and strong experience in a multicultural environmentWhat we offer:
