The data team has 3 missions:
- Fight against fraudsters (spammers, phishers, payment abuse) to protect our users
-Help our clients to leverage their data with AI
-Make the data accessible to everyone at Brevo to help them to take the right decisions

As a Data Engineer, you will:
Design and Develop: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data platform solutions on GCP, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure.Data Pipeline Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources into our data lake or data warehouseData Modeling: Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability for analytical and reporting purposes.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve data platform issues, ensuring high system availability and minimizing downtime.Security and Compliance: Implement appropriate security measures, access controls, and data governance policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and best practices.Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, provide technical guidance, and support data-driven initiatives by delivering high-quality and timely data solutions.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and enable efficient onboarding of new team members.Collaborate with all the teams: product, customer care, finance, marketing, corporate, sales, developers, DevopsHave a “Data as a Service” approach to let everyone leverage the data What will contribute to your success:
Excellent educational background with a Master's degree in Engineering At least 2+ years experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Programming and Scripting: Strong programming skills in languages like Python, SQL, and experience with shell scripting. Familiarity with Java, or other programming languages is a plus.Experience working with development workflow: agile, git, test, deployment, monitoringGood ability to design different data architectures to adapt to a variety of requirementsCollaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.Ability to define business questions and translate them into clearly defined technical/data specificationsExcellent English and experience in a multicultural environment - another language will be appreciated such as FrenchWhat we offer:
