About the Role
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving the full sales cycle—from discovery to close—with a focus on high-value inbound leads. This includes scheduling and leading product demos, articulating the value of Brevo’s solutions, and negotiating and closing deals. The AE engages deeply with prospects, conducts discovery to understand client needs, and tailors solutions accordingly.
The role lies in the Pro team which corresponds to our SMB segment (high velocity sales).
In this role, success is driven by the ability to build strong relationships, efficiently manage your inbound leads and pipeline, moving fast in your sales cycle, multi-thread across key stakeholders, and deliver compelling, customized pitches. The AE collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams while maintaining a deep understanding of Brevo’s platform, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.

Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, active listening, and tailored solutions. Respond to inquiries with clarity and professionalism while adapting to client feedback and evolving needs.Sales Execution & Deal ManagementDrive the full sales cycle : outreach on warm leads, qualification, demo, negotiation and closing. Deliver compelling, benefit-focused product presentations. Use persuasive communication to convey value and secure commitments. Lead volume & Pipeline ManagementUpdate your pipe and be an ambassador of our sales CRM. Ensure fast treatment of incoming leads and strong sales velocity. Ensure accurate sales forecasting, CRM hygiene, and timely stakeholder updates across departments. Product & Client ExpertiseBuild a deep understanding of Brevo’s platform, features, and add-ons. Map product capabilities to the needs of different Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), particularly within the mid-market segment.Lead Generation & OutreachProactively look for outreach & upgrade opportunities for our free or low-paying customer base. Maintain a healthy pipeline and drive continuous business growth.Qualifying Enterprise leadsSome inbound leads will be a better fit for our Enterprise solutions. In those cases, the Account Executive shall qualify the lead and if appropriate, pass it along to the Enterprise AE. These will be jointly compensated opportunities. Who you are:
