The Serverless team is currently growing and looking for a talented Technical Lead to take on challenges and bring the products and Scaleway to new heights!

As a Technical Leader, you will provide the technical expertise for the products developed by your team. Each time there is a technical challenge to resolve for your product, you will be responsible for working on this with the help of the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Code again and again to produce incredible product features!
• Provide key technical expertise for your product within the company
• Build innovative products and services based on the latest technologies with the help of your team
• Guarantee the quality of the code produced by the team (organize “friendly” code review sessions, help the team to follow efficient coding methods, and ensure that code is clean, scalable, tested and validated). To include all developers in these shared efforts, you will promote code ownership methods within the team
• Contribute to technical specifications and be responsible for their validation by other Team Leaders if this is a cross-team effort
• Put forward ideas of ways to reduce the technical debt at code level and work with your Engineering manager to make it happen
• Ensure security is a main priority when you and your team code and deploy
• Manage requests for code merges (especially in case of a cross-team project) and also their priorities (risk management)
• Work closely with your Engineering Manager to make sure that the whole team is aligned on technical objectives
• Ensure collaboration with other Engineering teams runs smoothly
• Work closely with our local Architect to deploy internal stacks within your products and guarantee that global engineering initiatives are used within your product process and stack

Minimum qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of experience working with Golang
• You are a DevOps Engineer with recent hands-on, public cloud engineering experience
• Knowledge of various cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack, Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Containers and Container Orchestration such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience of Agile / Scrum methodology
• A passion for open source technologies and the open source community
• Proven experience in cloud automation
• You have a proven track record of continually looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction
• Very good command of English
