Placed within Global Brand Team and reporting to the Allegra Global Brand General Manager, the Global Brand Innovation Lead Allegra will be defining and executing the innovation roadmap in line with the brand strategy, financial plans, and the Strategic Plan.

Key responsibilities:

· Identify brand growth opportunities and work with cross-functional teams at a local and global level, as well as external agencies to deliver scalable, winning innovation that drives revenue, profit and share at a pace.

· Facilitate internal ideas generation with cross functional teams to develop new product ideas and create winning concepts to maintain a continuous flow of insights and ideas to strengthen our base and fuel innovation.

· Be accountable for the successful pipeline delivery through the business gate cycle and commercial targets.

· Identify portfolio simplification and optimization opportunities in cross collaboration with M&S and D2V (Design-to-Value) teams.

· Identify renovation, commercial innovation and sustainability initiatives to drive brand growth and expansion.

· Responsible for the brand innovation budget allocation among the projects, ensure transparency of spend against meaningful initiatives and trade-offs, valuing projects for financial scale, accuracy and probability of success.

· Own NPD projects from concept to launch; seeking out the optimized solution of product, pack and execution working closely with a cross-functional team (Science Hub, Finance, M&S, Legal, Procurement, etc.).

· Define launch plans in coordination with the Brand Team and Zone Brand Leads and post-launch evaluation with actionable insights to build learnings into future plans.

· Own and build the business cases through the gate process in cooperation with Finance and aligned with the innovation thresholds.

· Guarantee compliance with Sustainability KPIs.


About you


· Graduate degree in marketing, management degree (preferable)


· 10+ years successful experience within a leading FMCG/OTC or another brand-led organization.

· Experience working in global or regional role

· Experience in brand innovation and brand-building roles

Specialized knowledge/others

· Strong bias for action, a high degree of personal accountability and an entrepreneurial spirit

· Track record of working cross-functionally and leading projects

· Strong analytical skills, comfortable digging under the surface to uncover insights, reach logical conclusions and recommend actions back to the business in a compelling way.

· Fluent English
