You impact :

As a senior Project Management Officer & Project Portfolio Manager, you will work on behalf of Rexel IT Group in the IT Planning & Country Support department (IPCS). You will report to the Group IT director for IT Planning and Country Support.

You will have regular touchpoints with country IT stakeholders, to act as a facilitator between country and group IT teams. Your primary tasks will be to actively participate in the management of Rexel CIO Community, to monitor country IT project portfolio, country IT budget and country IT compliance. Your secondary task will be to assist IPCS director on reporting, budget planning and contractor management.

Your Day to Day :

• CIO Community & country IT syncs

Participate in regular meetings with country IT & Finance representatives (“IT Syncs” for approx. 20 countries, 1 meeting every one or two months), with support of a junior PMO.

• IT portfolio

Monitor countries IT roadmaps, identify strategic/complex IT projects and liaise accordingly with Group IT teams (Infrastructure, Security, Middleware & Data, e-Commerce…) to align HQ stakeholders during project inception and to facilitate central/local teams interaction during project execution.

• IT budget

Support country IT budget preparation and participate in budget review and analysis.

• IT compliance

Keep country IT compliance representatives engaged during the yearly assessment & reporting cycle.

• Support to IPCS department management

Unify reporting processes across all IPCS application domains (ERP, CRM, IT Supply Chain solutions, Corporate Finance solutions, Corporate HR solutions…) on both active IT projects and IT operations

Participate in the preparation of IPCS yearly budget plan and in quarterly reforecasts.

Support IPCS shared service managers with regular follow-ups of budget spent, with PO issuance, good receipts and invoice booking, liaising with other PMO teams to improve processes and follow-up deliverables.

Your strenghts and skills :

• 10 to 15 years of experience

• Previous experience in overseeing a portfolio of IT projects in a global company, liaising with multicultural IT stakeholders and IT finance controllers.

• Should have experience working in CIO Office team or as a management consultant

• Should have experience in project management and related methodologies (PMI, Prince2…)

• Nice to have experience in participating in a global community of practices

• Strong analytical skills to work through complex situations. At ease with numbers (budget figures, license inventories…) and able to analyze data using Excel.

• Great coordination skills, experience in working in flat or matrix organization. Customer-oriented and self-motivated.

• Appetite to work in a multi-country multi-cultural environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills. Good proficiency in both French and English is mandatory (written & spoken).
