You impact :
As an Operations Lead – Infrastructure Services ‘Digital’, you will work on behalf of Rexel IT Group in the service and Global operation teams. You will report to the Global CTO organization into the IT Manager of Operations and Services.
As an Operations Lead for Infrastructure Services in the digital domain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of infrastructure services (cloud, hybrid and datacenter) that support digital initiatives. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of digital infrastructure, systems, and services, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation. Your primary focus will be on optimizing infrastructure performance, maintaining high availability, and delivering exceptional user experiences with the global digital application and delivery teams.
You will be responsible for the full scope of Operations and ITIL services supporting:
Rexel Ecommerce websites (Webshop) in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific - supporting 1M+ customers, strategy digital transformation objectives and critical sales revenue
Infrastructure & Cloud managed by providers/partners and internal teams related to the ecosystems
Your Day to Day :
As Services & Operations Lead you are expected to ensure that digital applications are up and running.
This includes:
Responsible to ensure and maintain IT operations transparency;
Ensure strong IT Service Management Operation processes are in place (Change Management, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Management) to warrant platform stability;
Lead infrastructure Run Services for defined scope, including management of the suppliers, SLAs, availability and Service Catalogue offering;
Work in collaboration with RUN and technical teams to ensure lifecycle management and production stability;
Ensure incident and crisis management process and communication plans;
Continuous improvement
What are the key challenges in the short and mid term?
Ecommerce IaaS to move to cloud global project
Industrialize Cloud CaaS service with internal and external stakeholders.
Onboard new providers into ITSM tooling, process and governance for new RUN.
Your strenghts and skills :
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Service Delivery Manager
Tactical soft skills, as working with different cultures within a decentralized and complex organization - relationship building is a large part of the role
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to communicate across a broad spectrum of users
Excellent organizational skills, strong autonomy
Team player with a continuous improvement, collaborative, positive and resilient mindset
Knowledge of Web Application Infrastructure (WAF, Load-Balancer, Search Engine, Apache, Database, ELK, Azure)
Maintain high-quality documentation
Continuous improvements mindset
Troubleshooting skills is a plus
Java architecture knowledge is a plus
English mandatory, French is a real plus
