With a fundraise of 16+M€, a team of more than 20 people, raidium seeks a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all aspects of financial management.
This spectrum includes:
* Financial strategy and implementation
* Accounting management
* Cash management
* Administrative tasks
Financial processes: define and implement all processes that relate to finances,
Strategy: contribute to the company’s strategy and implement it as a budget,
Analytical accounting: mapping expenses to budget,
Financial modeling: creating the Business Plan
Financial reporting: VCs and grants (e.g. EIC)
Fundraise support of the financial aspects of roadshows (BP consolidation, due diligences etc.)
General accounting: accountant, balance sheet
Payrolls: pay slips, salary benefits,
Subcontractor management/negotiation,
Cash management and investment,
Administration of Raidium SAS: i.e. relations with social, fiscal and legal institutions,
Helping the management of Raidium US: including accountant, payroll, legal forms etc.
As the CFO of an early-stage startup, you can also be involved in:
Participating in grant applications: financial inputs & reporting
Managing the office manager
Various administrative tasks, e.g. managing apprenticeship contracts
HR: Raidium doesn’t have an HR yet and CFO is a good option as a starter
You will work as part of the executive committee, especially Sebastian Schwarz (COO), Paul Hérent (CEO), Pierre Manceron (CSO).
Holds a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Possesses a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (French GAAP and ideally IFRS), and corporate finance.
Has a proven track record of managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
Demonstrates experience in fundraising processes, investor relations, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to financial decision-making.
Communicates financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders in both written and oral English and French.
Rigor is of course a must: regarding the position and our industry.
Has authorization to work in France.
Previous experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within a deeptech or healthcare startup.
Experience with financial modeling for business planning and valuation.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in France and internationally.
Experience managing legal and administrative aspects of a company.
Exposure to grant applications and management.
Experience in international business and currency management.
