Descriptif du poste

In close collaboration with data scientists, modelers, biostatisticians, project managers, biomedical and real-world data consultants, your role will be to support evidence and data-driven insights generation for optimal decision making and maximal medical, public health or business impact. You will achieve this by applying your healthcare data management and analytical skills, knowledge and hands-on experience, in particular through:  

  • Handling, pulling and integrating health data from disparate sources; 
  • Leading key variables definitions in collaboration with medical experts, data scientists and business leaders; 
  • Defining, cleaning and structuring health data in collaboration with Data Scientists and Biostatisticians; 
  • Selecting/applying most suitable methods to detect/impute missing or poor data; 
  • Analyzing data from a business perspective: patterns and trends identifications in data, description of a patient population by aggregation and adapted visualizations through descriptive analyses; 
  • Implementing analyses in standard languages like R or Python, documenting codes; 
  • Presenting results to clients and stakeholders like health agencies or academics; 
  • Reporting, documenting and supporting scientific publications. 

In addition to your role as Data Analyst in the project teams, you will also contribute to the evolution of skills and know-how of the company.   


Profil recherché

You come from an engineering school and/or have a master’s degree and you wish to work in the consulting sector with a strong analytical dimension. 

You have the following skills and experience:   

  • Database analyses (e.g. relational databases);
  • Ability to identify the main client issues, to break down a problem, to propose relevant analyses and to make recommendations.  
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of statistical methods ; 
  • You master R and/or Python programming, SQL is a plus; 
  • Operational knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau…)
  • Knowledge/experience of the most common real-word data and public health nomenclatures (ICD, HCPCS, etc…) is a plus; 
  • Proven organizational and timelines management skills; 
  • Demonstrated efficiency in to teamworking;   
  • Ability to clearly present and synthesize very numerate and analytical work to data-naïve business audience; 
  • Critical thinking and proactivity;  
  • Commitment to delivery and scientific excellence; 
  • You are comfortable in English, both oral and written (necessary for interaction with international customers).
