We are growing our team and have an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Sales Order Processing Administrator. You will be focused on making sure all of our orders are created and processed to perfection, following through to ensure the full process is smooth. Ideally you’ll have experience in order processing and supply chain. This role is offered on a hybrid basis – 3 days in our fantastic offices in Loughton, and 2 days at home.

This role will be offered on a maternity cover basis.

About the Role 

  • To process all sales orders for machines and spare parts to the agreed service level. To resolve any customer query arising from sales orders or enquires. To always represent the company in a professional manner.

  • To represent the Sales Order Processing Department for the Company and liaise with all departments accordingly.

  • To verify and authorise all incoming UK and Overseas orders

  • To check prices on all orders received and confirm by initials that they have been checked and conform to standard prices. Any non-conformances should be signed and authorised by your Line Manager.

  • Allocate relevant stock and enter the details onto the company's computer system.

  • Administer all internal and external queries in connection with Sales Orders.

  • To produce any required reports as and when requested.

  • To liaise via verbal and written communication with both UK and Overseas customers.

  • To monitor the progress of all orders and alert manager of any problem areas. Ensure the required levels of service are achieved for spares orders.

  • To highlight and communicate any new customer requirements, liaising between customer and factory when required.

  • Co-ordination, preparation and presentation of any outstanding/pending delivery delays on a weekly basis relating to all export orders.

  • In liaison with the relevant Manager communicate any re-scheduling back to the customer.

About YOU

  • Experience of order processing within a business-to-business environment & managing legal documents

  • Experience of input of data within multi systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • The ability to work under pressure to time scales, targets, and deadlines

  • Experience of Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP)

  • Experience of forward planning & understanding of the supply chain planning cycle with experience of ERP systems (SAP desirable)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills offering excellent customer service to internal/external customers

  • Experience with using SFDC, Siebel, SAP & Business Base (desirable but not essential)
