As Lead Lead Internal Control, you will join the Compliance Team, a multicultural team ensuring Qonto’s activities are secured and Compliant in every country we operate.

Your role will be to ensure all the activities of Qonto and of its essential providers are secured and compliant. You will update and execute a relevant control plan and mitigate operational risks. You will lead a Team of Internal Control Officers. You will work closely with Jean-Eloi, our Head of Compliance and Maxime Laot our VP Risk & Compliance.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Lead Internal Control at Qonto, you will

• Manage the operational risks of Qonto updating our risk mapping, ensuring the incident database is up to date and coordinating risk mitigation action plans
• Keep the permanent control plan updated, ensuring it covers the risks of Qonto (especially the operational risks) and of its providers, using the insights from the Compliance team and from Qonto managers.
• Ensure the Internal control team performs its controls efficiently and monitors the execution of controls assigned to other business divisions and essential service providers.
• Assist periodic control during thematic audits ensuring they have the knowledge and resources they need.*

• Experience: You already have 4+ years of experience in Compliance / Internal Control, preferably in the Fintech or banking industry, including a successful experience of managing a team.
• Communication: You can synthesize information from a variety of sources and communicate the key points to other teams with detail and simplicity.
• Communication skills: You possess excellent interpersonal communication skills to encourage social dialogue.
• Professional skills: You are a fast learner with a strong attention to detail. You have good analytical and quantitative skills to quickly elaborate key findings and propose processes improvements.
• Languages: You are fluent in English. Mastery of French and another European language (Spanish, Italian, German) is a definite plus.
• Education: You have a Master’s Degree from business school, engineering school or equivalent.
