As a CFO at Qonto, you will be in charge of all finance related topics as well as a business partner of Alexandre Prot, CEO and co-founder and the whole leadership team.

Your mission is to support Qonto’s exponential growth by managing the company’s finances, achieving full financial control and making sure the company abides by its regulatory obligations.

You will join a finance team composed of 6 people that you will lead and grow.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a the Chief Financial Officer at Qonto, you will

• Manage the company’s finances: You (and your team) will be in charge of financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. This is is the fundamental basis in order to have a healthy company/growth. This is also the requirement that will enable you to discuss more
• Perform risk management and make sure the company complies with regulation: You will analyze the organization’s liabilities and investments by considering cash and liquidity risks and you will ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. When Qonto becomes a fully-licensed bank, you will also have to oversee our ALM function (and hire ALM experts).
• Provide strategic recommendations to drive optimal growth: You will help decide on investment strategies, as well as the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
• Lead the finance team: You will manage the finance team (e.g. Finance Manager, Accounting Associate) by giving them clear objectives and enabling them to grow.
• Oversee relationships/works with external parties: You will establish and develop relations with external partners and stakeholders.

• Experience: You have a proven experience as a CFO, finance officer or relevant role in a fast paced-environment.
• Mastery: You are proficient in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and financial management software.
• Knowledge: You have an in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Analytical mind: You have an excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Problem solving: You have the ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Leadership & communication: You have strong leadership, excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Languages: You have an excellent command of English (oral and written). French a plus and extra points for German/Spanish/Italian ;).
• Education: You have a degree from a leading university or masters program.
