We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Paris.

Your role

As a member of the Data Engineering Team, alongside our technical experts, you will get an opportunity to:

• Work and improve on pipelines deployed on insurance claims data, medical coding inference and sentiment analysis on hospital reviews

• Implement and optimize the associated algorithms

• Integrate your contribution in our python/postgresql/elasticsearch stack

• Develop test framework for the models

• Brainstorm on the best ways to deploy our machine learning models at scale

• Continuously provide and implement ideas to improve the solution

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in the field of software and data engineering

• Possessing advanced technical skills in probabilistic modeling, computer sciences, statistics and/or operations

• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities, not afraid to deal with details

• Possessing proficient knowledge of Python and Deep Learning Frameworks

• Ability to write quality production code and provide coding review to train and develop the skills of the team

• Ability to manage and lead a team of data engineers to optimize workflow and ensure quality control

• Fluency in English (Both Verbal and written). French and any additional languages are a plus

Bonus skills

• You have led complex projects with teams of engineers and previous experience with production-grade projects with good software engineering insights

• You are familiar with running medium/large scale distributed compute/storage tools in production (Kubernetes, Ray, Airflow, etc.)

• You have experience with one or more IAC tools, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Packer, Vault, PostgreSQL

• You have worked in a cloud-native or multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• You value correctness and efficiency; you leave no stone unturned when diagnosing issues.

• You have significant experience building and operating workflows (Dagster, Airflow, etc.)
