About Qantev
Qantev is an AI-driven platform that helps health and life insurers around the world automate claims management, detect fraud and abuse, and improve data quality and operational efficiency.
Working at Qantev means joining a multicultural, fast-growing, and innovative team where ownership, responsibility, collaboration and continuous learning are part of our core values.
Role Overview
As a Legal Intern focused primarily on compliance (with an emphasis on data protection / GDPR and AI-related issues), you will play a key role in helping Qantev maintain high standards of regulatory compliance and data privacy/security. You will also provide general legal support across a variety of business functions as needed. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (product, data, engineering, operations) and contribute to the company’s risk management and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
GDPR & Data Protection Compliance
Support the review, implementation and maintenance of data protection policies, procedures and documentation (privacy notices, data processing agreements, records of processing activities, etc.).
Assist in handling data-subject requests (access, rectification, deletion, portability, etc.) in coordination with relevant teams.
Help conduct or coordinate data protection impact assessments (DPIA) when required.
Monitor regulatory developments in data protection (especially EU GDPR and other relevant jurisdictions), and flag potential impacts for the company.
AI & Emerging Legal / Compliance Issues
Research and track emerging legal and regulatory frameworks for AI (ethics, transparency, risk, data governance) relevant to Qantev’s business.
Support drafting or updating internal guidance, policies or compliance recommendations for use of AI-driven solutions (in particular in the context of health / insurance data).
Contribute to risk assessment processes associated with AI deployments, including privacy, liability, fairness, transparency.
General Legal & Corporate Support
Assist in reviewing, drafting or summarizing commercial contracts and vendor agreements (e.g. with clients, third-party service providers, data processors).
Support internal legal documentation upkeep (company policies, governance documents, corporate formalities, regulatory filings as needed).
Provide legal research and support on ad-hoc topics (employment law, intellectual property, regulatory issues, liability, etc.).
Work with internal teams to raise awareness about compliance obligations (e.g. data handling, confidentiality, privacy, security).
Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, data) to ensure compliance embedding throughout Qantev’s operations.
Assist in preparing reports or summaries for senior management about compliance status, incidents, and regulatory developments.
Help maintain a compliance tracker / register (data processing activities, contractual commitments, audit status).
Candidate Profile
Looking for an internship of 4 to 6 months starting from January 2026.
Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Master’s or equivalent in Law (specialising in data protection / IT law / regulatory law / corporate law) or relevant field.

Excellent research and writing skills, ability to summarise complex legal/regulatory texts in clear language.
