We opened our R&D Second Home (besides the one in Silicon Valley) in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. Our Engineers are solving complex engineering problems (from low-level system software to cloud computing) that help us innovate our cutting-edge products. Besides our world-class Software Engineering teams, we have many other talented colleagues working in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and HR to name a few. What’s more, we’ve developed these teams from talent across the globe.

FLASHARRAY

Our customers love our flagship product FlashArray, for its simplicity of management, a constant flow of new and exciting innovation and its ability to expand on cutting-edge technology with no downtime, ever. Most recently, we extended the value of our FlashArray capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS and Azure. These new innovations enable our customers to leverage the agility of the public cloud for both traditional IT and cloud-native applications.

To help FlashArray remain an industry-leading product, our team in Prague is developing core and groundbreaking features for our customers across the globe. Data has no boundaries and with it, our engineering reach to tackle problems in the Data domain being in the cloud, private data centers, or the hybrid cloud. THE TEAM

As part of FlashArray’s cloud initiative, our team is dedicated to enhancing the Cloud Block Store (CBS) offering. We make CBS easier to adopt, use and operate. We own multiple services written in Go and ensure their smooth operations. Our services integrate with numerous other services so we focus on proper API design to make our interfaces stable and long-living.

Our goal is to innovate rapidly and consistently introduce new features without compromising reliability or customer experience. As such, we place great importance on test automation and robust continuous delivery pipelines.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL...

• Own and deliver innovation end-to-end, from concept to a running service or feature
• Design and develop new features and enhancements
• Focus on test automation and reliable operations of the service
• Help choose the best tools to get the job done
• Propose improvements
• Work with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
• Collaborate across the teams with other Pure engineers
• Use: Go, Python, Azure, Kubernetes and other tools and technologies

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• A minimum of 2 years experience in software development, using Go, Python, or similar programming language
• A BS+ degree in Computer Science or related field
• Enthusiasm for SW development
• Responsibility for the quality of the delivered work
• Open mind to learn more about different languages, domains, platforms
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Natural curiosity and willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
• You will be based in Prague, Czechia. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need

WHAT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL...

• Cloud / DevOps / Kubernetes related experience
• REST API design experience
• CI/CD experience

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure’s Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
