We opened our R&D Second Home (besides the one in Silicon Valley) in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. Our Engineers are solving complex engineering problems (from low-level system software to cloud computing) that help us innovate our cutting-edge products. Besides our world-class Software Engineering teams, we have many other talented colleagues working in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and HR to name a few. What’s more, we’ve developed these teams from talent across the globe.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

• Writing excellent new tools to automate manual processes, eliminating context switching for team members.
• Partnering with Product Managers and designers in defining requirements from backend automation.
• Surfacing data and reports that help peers and leadership make accurate, real-time decisions.
• Owning your internal-facing services and tools from development through deployment.
• Designing and implementing REST APIs for web clients.
• Participating in design and code reviews with your peers.
• Making existing applications more robust.
• Implementing feedback from team members, resolving bugs, and refactoring/improving the code base.
• Being a team player, ability to collaborate ideas sharing in a strong product setting.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while adhering to best practices and meeting strict deadlines.
• Working in an agile environment, participating in planning and Scrum boards.
• Being available to answer operational questions from developers.
• Displaying excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Bachelor’s degree required, related discipline Technology or STEM field preferred.
• Looking for someone with 2+ years of Python programming experience
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL.

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
