THE ROLE
We are seeking a results-driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to spearhead our commercial expansion in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. As the architect of our growth strategy in this region, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the BENELUX region.
● Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
● Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
● Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target enterprise accounts.
● Clearly articulate Powerling’s value proposition, demonstrating how our solutions can help clients achieve their global business objectives.
● Collaborate closely with our marketing, project management, and solutions teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
● Represent Powerling at industry events, conferences, and networking functions within the region.
● Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on market trends, competitor activities, and pipeline status.
Essential Requirements:
● Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch is mandatory.
● Professional fluency in English (our corporate language).
● Proven track record of success in B2B sales or business development, preferably with 3+ years of experience in the localization, translation, or language technology industry.
● Currently based in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Luxembourg, with a strong understanding of the regional business landscape.
● A “hunter” mentality with a passion for building new business from the ground up.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work autonomously in a remote setting.
What Sets You Apart:
● Proficiency in French is a strong asset.
● An existing network of contacts within potential client industries (e.g., Life Sciences, IT, Manufacturing, E-commerce).
● Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines.
● A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
