Do you want to join a large French company with iconic brands? Join Pernod Ricard’s Purchasing team as Carbon Analyst Intern, starting as soon as possible. Under the responsibility of the Supplier Carbon Reduction Manager, you will participate to the deployment of the Scope 3 climate strategy as part of the S&R “Circular Making” roadmap defined for 2030. The main activities will be analyzing, updating, and improving procurement/supply chain data related to data gathering, calculation and simulation for carbon footprint calculation. An important focus will be on the “logistic category” with furthers tasks on the other categories (packaging, promotional items, or raw materials).

Your key missions

Logistic focus: 

  • Support the Supplier Carbon Reduction team, in analyzing and improving the logistics carbon methodology (data gathering, modelling and calculation). 

  • Contribute to the data integration of all logistics CO2 initiatives deployed at Group level. 

  • Carry out logistics CO2 simulation initiatives using logistics CO2 calculation software. 

  • Support the building and the monitoring of the affiliates CO2 action plan to reach CO2 2030 ambition. 

  • Support with other related projects linked to sustainable logistic strategy: guidelines, external collaboration, legislation and standards, benchmarks, …  

Other:  

  • Support the Supplier Carbon Reduction team and procurement categories (glass, secondary packaging, promotional items, industrial wet goods) on the global carbon scope 3 reduction strategy: data collection, CO2 roadmap monitoring, suppliers’ engagement, …  

  • Contribute to the Group's annual climate reporting (Extra-Financial Report). 

 

Size and scope of intervention: 

Main contacts: Supply Chain category team (logistic category manager), Purchasing category managers (glass, closures and labels, secondary packaging), Sustainability team (S&R and sustainable performance), affiliates local teams (S&R, Supply chain and Procurement). 

If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply!   

  • You have an Engineering School or equivalent university education with ideally a Supply chain, Sustainability or Environmental Sciences specialization. 

  • First experience recommended, ideally in Sustainability/ Carbon/ Data management.  

  • Fluent English imperative 

  • Knowledge and references: curious, rigorous, autonomous, involved, very good analytical skills and enjoys working with data, a specific appetence for sustainability, all in a good team spirit. 

  • Know-how and tools: excellent mastery of the Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint), data management and Power BI knowledge would be a plus.  

  • Soft skills: endowed with a good relationship, you are ready (e) to evolve in an international environment and are recognized (e) for your capacity to work in team and your sense of the service. 

 

Please note: to apply, you must be available for a 6-month internship and have an agreement issued by your school/university.
