We’re building the next generation of Perifit products — smarter, smaller, and even more empowering. As part of the Hardware team you’ll be working among software, mechanical and electronics engineers.
You will be in charge of making our Hardware products better while improving current Perifit manufacturing operations.
Your Missions
As an IoT & Test Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our hardware team (software, electronics, mechanical engineers) to support the development and industrialization of Perifit’s next-generation products. Your work will cover all aspects of testing — from software and electronics to mechanical design — with a strong focus on building practical, impactful solutions for real-world production needs.
You will:
Contribute to the definition and development of product-specific test systems (software, electronics, mechanics).
Prototype and validate functional test benches for in-development products.
Support the implementation of embedded firmware features and test scripts (C, Python).
Set up connections with internal databases when needed.
Participate in the deployment of test equipment at factories and suppliers in China, including technical preparation, remote coordination, and on-site support.
Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor corrective actions, and document solutions (code, wiring diagrams, instructions, Git repos…).
By the end of the internship, you are expected to have:
Successfully co-developed and validated at least one complete test bench.
Contributed tangible improvements to embedded firmware or validation scripts.
Participated in the deployment of test equipment in China.
Gained hands-on experience in electronics debugging, data acquisition, and mechanical testing.
Delivered clear, reusable documentation that will help future engineers build upon your work.
Profile
You are passionate about new technologies, DIY projects, 3D printing, and robotics, and you enjoy building things hands-on. Curious, autonomous, and problem-solving oriented, you’re eager to understand how things work and to improve them.
You bring:
Solid foundations in software and firmware (C, Python).
Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar boards.
Basic knowledge of electronics design and mechanical concepts.
Full professional proficiency in English (Mandarin is a plus).
It’s even better if you also have:
Experience in embedded firmware development (nRF52, Arduino, STM32, etc.).
Exposure to databases or APIs, e.g. pushing device data to dashboards.
A production-aware mindset, with an interest in how products are tested in factories.
Cultural adaptability or international experience, which helps when working abroad.
Step 1: Complete a technical test.
Step 2: If successful, you will have a 15-minute screening call with Antoine, the recruiter in charge of this position.
Step 3: Upon passing the call, you will have a final interview with the Hiring Manager, David.
