The role:

We’re looking for a Product Manager – Financial Services (FinOps) to own and evolve the backbone of our financial system. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you’ll drive the strategy and execution behind critical services including financial reconciliation, core banking system, merchant invoicing, payouts and financial reporting. Your work will directly impact the transparency, reliability, and scalability of our financial systems as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) operating in a regulated environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and roadmap for all FinOps features, ensuring seamless financial operations: billing, reconciliation, payouts, and ledger management.

• Drive discovery with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Compliance, Data, and Engineering to uncover pain points and co-design scalable solutions.

• Own the relationships with financial partners, banks, and acquirers on topics like reconciliation and settlement processes.

• Ensure your product meets the highest standards of compliance, traceability, and reporting accuracy. Delivery & Execution

• Be embedded in an agile squad and lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and feature delivery.

• Write clear specifications, define success criteria, and guide implementation with engineering and QA.

• Conduct functional testing, monitor outcomes, and iterate based on insights.

• Keep stakeholders informed through proactive updates and transparent progress reporting.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally in fintech or financial operations.

• You’re comfortable navigating complex systems like billing engines, reconciliation processes, or core banking platforms.

• You understand regulatory requirements in a PSP environment, and you thrive in cross-functional collaboration.

• You’re structured, data-driven, and detail-oriented—without losing sight of the big picture.

• You communicate clearly in English (French or Spanish is a plus!).
