Job description

Who will you be working for?

Our partner is an e-learning platform specializing in helping students reach their learning objectives! With assessments and reading & mathematical solutions, our partner is committed to making learning a fun and insightful experience for children.

Their core mission: optimize early learning for students to reach their goals!

What is this job about?

In this role as Business Development Manager, your goal is to increase sales at an international level, generating new business opportunities from both existing and new customers.

On a daily basis, you will identify new sales opportunities in the educational sector and enhance the company’s relationship with current clients. You are in charge of the entire sales cycle, from prospection to account management.

Your challenges

  • Achieve your targets and KPIs set by your manager
  • Contact clients mainly through calls, and follow up on all enquiries
  • Prepare sales presentations both face-to-face and virtually to explain the value of company’s products
  • Identify potential new and emerging opportunities for the company within the international schools’ market
  • Research new market opportunities including up-selling and cross-selling
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, educational forums, websites, social media, workshops, events, etc.
  • Create and manage a network of partnerships and resellers
  • Build trusted relationships with your clients and create referrals from existing customer’s base
  • Win and recapture customers lost from the CRM database
  • Keep up to date with developments within the K-12 sector that directly relate to the company

Preferred experience

What do you need to apply?

  • Language skills: proficient level in English (C2)
  • At least 1.5 years of experience in an Ed-tech sales environment
  • Experience in Account management
  • Ability to do outbound calling and consultative selling
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Experience building a pipeline of clients
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Market knowledge of the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa)
