The Bioinformatician we are looking for has a great expertise in computational biology, data analysis, and software tools to interpret complex biological data. His role involves collaborating with scientists, engineers, technicians and researchers to develop pipelines, analyze high-throughput datasets, and generate insights that drive scientific discovery and innovation.

Main missions (but not limited to):
Design, implement, optimize and maintain bioinformatics workflows and pipelines for high-throughput data & analyzing large-scale datasets
Analyze and integrate multi-omics datasets to support R&D, product development, and experimental design
Rapidly prototype and test computational approaches to address novel scientific challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate raw data into biological insights and decision-making tools
Evaluate and implement emerging bioinformatics tools, methods, and technologies
Document workflows and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to intellectual property, publications, presentations as the company grows and grant proposals when applicable
Stay current with emerging bioinformatics tools, methods, and technologies
Required:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
Proficiency with bioinformatics tools, databases, and platforms (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser, BLAST, GATK).
Experience with high-throughput sequencing data (e.g., RNA-seq, WGS, WES, scRNA-seq).
Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, or data visualization is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Extreme scientific rigor and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously with little or no supervision
Team spirit, good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in English
Bonus if you have:
Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Familiarity with workflow management systems (e.g., Snakemake, Nextflow, CWL)
Background in molecular biology, genetics, or biomedical research
Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative coding practices
