Motul Iberia Sales Manager plays an instrumental role in leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. She/he directs and oversees the sales strategy, policies and initiatives. She/He also recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. As a team leader, she/he develops and mentors the sales team. In direct liaison with the General Manager of the Business Unit, the Sales Manager is responsible for delivering sales’ turnover and margins, according to Budget objectives and other managerial guidelines. She/he works in good collaboration with all departments in leveraging company resources, to deliver a strong and sustainable value to our customers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                

  1. Develops, implements and monitors the overall sales strategy, drives objectives and initiatives, developing budgets / policies / procedures / targets for volume, turnover and profitability strategies as part of the company's overall policy.
  2. Develops, motivates and leads the sales’ teams, ensures resources are in place to deliver business strategy, and facilitates career development and succession planning.
  3. Implements a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales, decides/opens the proper channels to our current and new products.
  4. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, prospects and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  5. Negotiates agreements for contracts with key customers, ensuring commerciality, masters pricing methodology, experience in Margin analysis.
  6. Monitors and evaluates sales performance metrics, analyzes budget results by profit centers assessing shortfalls and coming up with strategic solutions to overcome budgeting issues.
  7. Participates in the budget process and 5-year plan for the Business Unit,
  8. Stays abreast of industry developments, competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  9. Knowledge of Digital Strategy will be a plus.
