Missions 🎯

You will lead the development of the Mojo iOS app. You will be responsible for assuring the smooth running and development of new feature concepts, turning them into delightful iOS experiences.

In one word you will make our users love our app even more each day by:

• leading the development of a well-engineered, scalable product
• ensuring the right level of quality for the main features that we will work on (testable architecture, unit testing)
• developing new features and improving existing and most successful ones
• overseeing the implementation strategy of new features and identifying bottlenecks that impede faster development
• providing technical leadership to the iOS team
• participating in the recruitment process of top-notch talent for your team
• becoming a technical referent for the iOS app

✨ Skills ✨

Here are the skills it takes to be a good fit:

• Fluent in English 🇬🇧
• Experience leading a team of 3+ engineers, mentoring new joiners
• Experience working on a high-traffic application (we have millions of monthly active users 📈)
• Deep knowledge of iOS (6+ years of experience)
• Swift, UIKit but also SwiftUI, Combine, Async/Await (we are migrating 😎)
• Comfortable working in remote and in an asynchronous configuration (status updates, team communication, weekly sync, Pull Requests, code reviews …)

We don’t expect you to have those skills, but if you have, feel free to tell us more about them!

• Previous experience in the Video editing world
• Experience with SpriteKit is a great plus
• Experience with PhotoKit
• Experience with AVFoundation, MetalKit
• Experience building a cross-platform framework / SDK

We are a small team of 24 people. Almost all of us are based in Europe. We have an office in Paris where half of us go weekly. The rest of the team works remotely and usually comes monthly to the office.

We gather every six months for team offsites and regularly host team events in Paris.

We work in English. Our communication is mainly written.

Most of our major initiatives are organized in autonomous squads.
