Job Description:

Location: Saint Denis de L'hotel (30 min from Orléans)

Type of contract: Permanent (CDI)

Together with the team of direct reports ( B5) and remote associates ensures that every month the wage & salary payroll is generated correctly and on time, considering currently valid laws on wage tax and social security, and in line with internal policies.

  • Accountable and Managing payroll and T&A selected  EU countries

  • Operating and implementation medium level of systems & program for Payroll and T&A across Benefits, Rewards, Payroll, My P&O, Taxes, Withholdings, Health & Wellness, Commuter Benefits, etc.;

  • Manage complex interfaces between systems inside and outside the company (Payroll, Workday, Time-Keeping,  etc.) in multiple countries

  • Establishing collaborative relationship with key business stakeholders

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance/Business Administration

  • Several years of job experience in payroll including experience in managing people and teams, including remote teams. Solid project management experience

  • Fluent English (any other European language is a plus)

  • MS Office skills

  • Advanced: Financial Control, Accounting, Financial Processes, Financial Analysis and Insights 

  • Run the optimal organizational design, processes and procedures to achieve Mars Financial Services objectives.

  • Manage and develop highly engaged Mars Financial Services associates, including local and remote teams

  • Take an active role as a business leader within the team and support the overall objectives of the business.

  • Provide strong payroll leadership on cross functional teams consisting of associates, external advisors, outside vendors (that interact with Payroll (e.g., Benefits, P&O, MIS system support, Commercial).  Provide both a view on planning opportunities for the future and direction on resolving complex and difficult issues.

  • Manage the Payroll processes ensuring compliance to the Finance Manual

  • One of the key responsibilities is driving standardization and continuous improvement of the Payroll

  • Active participation in service reviews with Business Units (incl. CFOs and financial controllers).
