Contract: Permanent

Location: Aimargues (30 min from Montpellier)

What are we looking for?

  • Previous work experience in strategic sourcing.

  • Knowledge on strategic manager package: strategies, complex problem solving, contract negotiation, price negotiation (tender, tco etc), SRM, project management, innovation and sustainability.

  • Big data management.

  • Experience in sourcing packaging and risk management is a plus.

  • Experience working with packaging used in Feed / Food applications will be an added value.

What would your responsibilities be?

  • Ensure regional needs are defined and represented in the development/ creation of global category sourcing strategy with the Global Category Leader, utilizing the Mars Strategic Sourcing Methodology.

  • Co-build sourcing strategies with internal and external stakeholders that match Royal Canin's strategy goals and maximize long-term value for money

  • Based on Sourcing strategies and identified strategic suppliers, prepare and drive the roadmap and KPI to continuously improve supply, quality, innovation, sustainability and savings

  • Initiate and drive the activity management process to meet the needs of inbound supply, communicating raw material availability and risks to appropriate stakeholders

  • Drive the annual Budget, including risks and opps

  • Build project pipeline, tenders, negotiation etc to deliver the annual savings target

  • Analyze supply, quality, financial and regulatory risk, prepare associated business case and action plan to mitigate risks

  • Negotiate regional supply agreement to ensure 100% compliance to RC, including IP rights

  • Manage suppliers and participate to quality monitoring & audit, with the support of Supplier Quality Assurance technologist. Partner with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) associates to managequality exceptions and crisis management process in order to minimize business impact

  • Assess 100% of our suppliers through the Ecovadis platform and develop an improvement plan accordingly
