Job Description:

Contract : Permanent/CDI

Segment: Royal Canin

Location : Aimargues (Between Nimes and Montpellier)

This position is responsible for the development of setting strategic direction for Indirect categories such as:  Capital and Factory Services (Eu Scope) and Integrated Facility Management (IFM) coordination (French scope) within Royal Canin. 

What are we looking for?

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in sourcing, especially in indirect capex buying

  • Experience managing multiple suppliers with varying levels of spend

  • Strong analytical skills & market knowledge

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Good communication skills in both French and English

What will be your key responsibilities?

80 % - Capital & Factory Services:

  • Analyze supply and demand fundamentals to forecast and budget annual spend.

  • Deliver to overall business plans by working with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and strategies.

  • Establish & maintain relationships with Global Engineering, Plant Leads, and Supply Chain Directors, Industrial Engineer, and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge.

  • Continually review Vendor base to ensure new supply opportunities exist at Regional or Global level.

20 % - Integrated Facility Management (IFM):

  • Facilitate and contribute to the deployment of the IFM program France (Head Quarter / French Factories /Kennel & Cattery/ MGS Lab / R&D Pilot) with our exclusive provider.

  • Ensure the proper execution of the contract by controlling the costs and the quality of service in line with Royal Canin standards

  • Lead supplier performance reviews (ie continuous improvement programs, clear KPI settings, Service level agreements, process optimization …) for in scope categories
