Job Description:

Location: Aimargues (30 min from Montpellier) .

Segment: Royal Canin

Contract Type: Permanent/ CDI

The Regional Graphics Production Officer / EP3 Key user plays a role in achieving our brand-building and growth journey, with the aim to develop next-generation Royal Canin & Eukanuba packaging and brand experiences.

Within the framework of ROYAL CANIN’s 2025 packaging roadmap, following premium brand values & sustainable development engagement, the Regional Graphics Production Officer will be responsible for the production of packaging products with our suppliers while respecting our central process & ways of working, marketing expectations, internal deadlines and regulatory requirements.

  • Bachelor University degree in Communication/ Graphic Industry / Industrial Design,  or similar background. Experience in Project Management is a plus.

  • 3 to 5 years professional experience in packaging production (project management, traffic), acquired either within a FMCG company, or a company that operates the graphics production process (design/artwork/repro agencies, etc.).

  • Fluent in English. French. Other languages are a plus.

  • Be at ease with the IT environment: testing, pro-active oriented.

Graphic Production Officer:

  • Ensure robust project management for the initiatives under his/her charge, accomplish Right First Time and On Time In Full Time for artwork/reprofile delivery, while escalating risks when needed. Bring together all the elements necessary for the production of packaging for the range under his/her charge. Provide suppliers (agencies/photoengravers/printers) with the elements required to print the packaging, including leadtime.

  • Adhere to Graphics global process, using the correct systems and tools and leading EP3 agenda (issues, evolutions, etc.).

  • Track the budget - Approve Purchase Orders (PU) on the system, register expenses, and support report to incumbent stakeholders.

  • Participate in alignment meetings with key internal stakeholders (Global Project Managers, Activity Managers, PDC, Innovation Assistant, Design, Packaging Technology, VCO Teams). Lead alignment meetings with key suppliers (Artwork, Production, Repro and Translation Agencies).

  • Map and follow-up KPIs, and report to the Regional Head of Graphics. Contribute to the introduction of Permanent Progress Plans for suppliers with the extended team.

Global Key user of EP3:

  • System control: Mastery of the Webcenter production packaging system: in-depth understanding of the platform, its functionalities and how to use it to manage packaging projects.

  • Technical skills: Ability to navigate the system efficiently, resolve technical problems and provide user support.

  • Process: Understanding and mastering the E2E packaging development process.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with users, development teams and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements, and to provide effective training and support.

  • Project management: Project management skills to coordinate activities related to EP3.

  • Problems solving: Ability to solve user problems quickly and implement effective solutions.

  • Training and user support: Ability to train users on how to use the system and provide ongoing support to ensure optimum use of the tool.
