Job Description:

Contract: Permanent / CDI

Location: Haguenau (30min from Strasbourg, France) or Slough, UK

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of experience in IT, preferably in cloud platform SRE, preferably for Analytics platforms

• Experience in cloud data platform & infrastructure engineering, preferably in Microsoft Azure environment(AKS cluster management, Azure Devops, Terraform)

• Understanding of technology management principles

• Data platform engineering covering ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Snowflake, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Event Hub

• Ability to collaborate and influence global internal and external stakeholders

What will be your key responsibilities?

Under the platform architect leadership, you will:

• Develop DevOps services for data platform across the data lifecycle – Ingest, Store, Transform/Prepare, Serve/Analyze, Visualize and Govern (SRE – Site Reliability Engineering)

• Ensure compliance of platforms with Mars data governance, security controls and network rules, cost management best practices

• Develop DevOps, Data pipelines, scripts etc. in support of agility and automation

• Embed relevant governance and security standards in delivered solutions

• Contribute to the support and maintenance of existing body of data model and applications currently in production within the Analytics and Data landscape.

• Lead projects or activities supporting any of the above points with the support of 3rd party contractors

• Hand over built services to Analytics Open Hub and/or Analytics solution teams.
