Localisation: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier)

Type of contract: permanent contract

To achieve its ambition to be the reference in pet health through nutrition, Royal Canin wants to continue to push the barriers of nutrition and individualization. The digital transformation is driving both new opportunities to serve more pets but also new challenges for our existing business models. This is why the new business team develops and implements the best strategies to further maintain Royal Canin as the reference in Pet Health through Nutrition, but also to serve more pets with a greater benefit on their health.

In this Digital acceleration context, Royal Canin needs to reinforce its internal strengths with digital, user centric, data analysis and deployment capabilities. Based in Aimargues, the D2PO Deploy Manager will sit in our Deploy Digital Factory to deploy at scale, and to foster local & global synergy, including coordination of successful integrations.

As part of the Royal Canin Digital Strategy, the direct to pet owners (D2PO) strategy is key, and we need to build prototypes, understand from already existing model in the units and frame our future to scale up with success when ready as we have the bold ambition to make this business become a major contributor of our long term growth. This role will work in strong partnership with Business and other support functions from global and the regions.

  • Business degree or Engineer's degree of Information Technology or equivalent
  • Min 8 to 10 years’ experience in project Management in complex and global environment

  • Strong understanding of digital environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus

The D2PO Deploy Manager will manage the team members and contractors that deploy the B2C digital platforms and assets of the Digital Factory, directed to the Pet Owners (also know as Direct to Pet Owners = D2PO). He/She will oversee delivering the following responsibilities:

Deploy D2PO Digital services at scale:

  • Continuously improve the standard Digital Factory deployment methodologies to accelerate the deployment and localization of the digital services (manage translations, list of values, …)
  • Improve and execute the standard deployment methodologies
  • Define and follow up D2PO deployment and activation KPIs
  • Influence markets and regions to deploy minimum viable product (MVP) with a continuous improvement approach
  • Influence markets and regions to activate at scale digital services and test new ways of working
  • Work with markets and the Architecture & Development teams to organize the technical integration of the digital service in markets’ ecosystems

Support the changes driven by the new D2PO digital services: 

  • Collaborate with Business and Marketing teams to support change management in markets (training, material, FAQ…)
  • Organize the business support of the digital services (FAQ, training, tickets follow up, feedbacks tools, surveys…)
  • Ensure the business activation for regions and markets of Digital Factory digital services with the business teams
  • Be the voice of the markets to share with global/headquarter teams field needs and help drive the different asset vision and orientations

Identify local D2PO key initiatives to be leveraged at a global level:

  • Work with regions and markets to follow up local initiatives
  • Codify and share learnings to successfully activate digital services
