Job Description:
Contract : Permanent contract/CDI
Location : Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier) or open to an organization of work in full remote
This role ensures the link between the delivery of our sustainability objectives, with a strong focus on climate, and our visibility of performance results, strengthening business decision-making and credibility of our actions, ensuring that Sustainability data and information are available, actionable, and accurate for business leaders, thus enabling innovation through much improved systems and tools.
A person with a Degree in agronomy and/or sustainability related topic (Life Cycle Assessment, data management)
At least 5 years' experience in products life cycle calculation (LCA)
Experience across data collection and reporting systems including audit requirements and processes
Ability to facilitate data-driven conversations to influence business strategy and growth
Demonstrated creativity in problem solving and the ability to take an idea through to implementation
Reporting and glide-path definition, supported by analytics and data and LCAs : Responsible for tracking Royal Canin’s carbon performance for different geographical scale, at corporate and products level; manage the validation and/or external assurance of data; generate performance reports to enable robust understanding of results internally and externally; Serves as carbon and climate analytics subject-matter expert in Royal Canin, providing analytics support to functional and brand teams to enable the delivery of climate goals, based on a deep understanding of carbon accounting, carbon intensity, allocation of benefits, and other critical climate accounting considerations.
Lead carbon neutrality certification : Responsible for the assessment of the performance of the products in the scope of the certification, working in close collaboration with other functional teams; Manage the LCA verification and certification process.
Deliver access to data and technical knowledge to functional teams and markets to drive their carbon reduction plans : Responsible for ensuring that relevant teams across functions have access to key Sustainability data and have the right capability and awareness in order to access it, utilize it to make business decisions, and to build into their existing teams stronger capabilities over time
