Descriptif du poste

PREPARATION OF THE DECISIONS AND WORK OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF L’OREAL AND ITS COMMITTEES (GOVERNANCE, REMUNERATION, AUDIT, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT) AND THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

  • Preparation of L’Oréal’s Annual General Meeting and of the decisions of the Board of Directors and its committees (governance, remuneration, audit, sustainable development)

  • Preparation of long-term remuneration plans (ACAs) and executive remuneration issues (Say on Pay)

  • Participation in governance roadshows and analysis of the voting policies of major investors and proxies

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING IN THE UNIVERSAL REGISTRATION DOCUMENT (URD)

  • Leading the Group’s compliance with regulations (Taxonomy, DPEF and, in future, CSRD, EFRAG) and major international standards/referentials (GRI, TCFD, SASB and, in future, ISSB),

  • Supervision and implementation of L’Oréal’s equity or debt transactions with a sustainability component (Sustainability-Linked Bonds),

  • Participation in steering L’Oréal’s Universal Registration Document, for which the team is responsible. 

PROSPECTIVE: 

  • Anticipating (“ seizing what is coming “) regulations and best practices, in terms of Coporate Governance and ESG, 

  • Analysing draft regulations at French or European level, identifying their potential impact on Coporate Governance and ESG reporting and making recommendations.


Profil recherché

  •  Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills: you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate fluidly and naturally; you will be able to discern and interact with a wide range of people (including top management); 

  • Results-oriented, you want to get involved in a team and community of experts.

  • Excellent writing, analytical and summarizing skills: a critical eye and the ability to take a step back and provide a strategic vision.

  • Agile and able to adapt to a changing environment.

  • A good understanding of the issues and impacts of corporate governance and sustainability is essential. 

  • -Fluency in French and English as working languages.

If you have at least 8/12 years’ experience in an equivalent position or have developed significant ESG/Corporate Governance expertise.
