At ManoMano, the Accounting team is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax standards, and providing accurate financial reporting, to support a fast changing environment. We work collaboratively to ensure accounts accuracy, support audits, and analyze financial performance, enabling informed decision-making and fostering operational efficiency within the organization. We also contribute to global and structural projects within the Company, on compliance, invoicing and financial aspects.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and diligent Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and a high desire to learn and grow in the field of accounting in a fast changing Tech and Retail environment. This position has a focus on AR/general accounting.

You will be joining a 6 people team (1 Head of / 3 Accountants / 1 Tax Manager / 1 Apprentice).

Full-time permanent position, based in Paris, reporting to the Head of Accounting and Tax.

Responsibilities :

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems

• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents

• Reconcile and follow the AR/Sellers operations (one of the main strategic topic)

• Reconcile accounts and contribute to monthly financial reports

• Analyze key variations in both BS and P&L positions

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

• Maintain financial records and ensure they are complete and accurate

• Support external audits and be the point of contact for banks, stakeholders or contributors

• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information

• Active Player in the improvement of accounting processes and internal systems

• Be part of global projects within the company and contribute on the Accounting, Tax or Financial aspects of them

Skills and Background :

• Minimum of a two-year degree in accounting or management and a first 3/4 years experience in an accounting firm

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

• Excellent communication in both written and spoken French and English

• Proactive, curious, autonomous, meticulous, with critical and analytical skills

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment

• Knowledge of an ERP system, particularly Netsuite, is a plus
