As a PM at Maki, you will be a genuine builder obsessed with using AI to design, prototype, and launch products that make HR teams more powerful.
Your responsibilities will include:
Continuous exploration: Stay on top of the latest AI capabilities and test them directly, turning research into real product opportunities.
Customer discovery & research: Talk to enterprise customers and HR leaders to deeply understand their workflows and pain points.
Cross-functional leadership: Align product, engineering, design, and GTM stakeholders around a shared vision—and then move fast to deliver it.
AI-first product design: Translate research into features that leverage LLMs, retrieval, and agentic workflows—balancing innovation with enterprise reliability.
Prototyping & shipping: Rapidly prototype new features with tools like Lovable; collaborate in code using Cursor; and push lightweight PRs yourself when needed.
Analytics & iteration: Instrument features, track metrics, and run experiments to validate adoption, usability, and impact.
Go-to-market support: Partner with marketing and sales to craft narratives, create product materials, and enable customer-facing teams.
Experience: 4+ years in product management or a product-building role, ideally in SaaS or AI-first environments.
Builder mindset: You’re hands-on—comfortable spinning up prototypes, working with code, and iterating quickly. You don’t wait for specs; you make things tangible.
AI fluency: Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and the AI toolchain. You know what’s hype and what’s usable.
Track record: You’ve shipped products end-to-end and can show measurable user and business impact.
Analytical & creative: Skilled at defining metrics, running experiments, and turning insights into product decisions—while also crafting stories that resonate with users.
Collaboration: A natural bridge between engineering and business teams.

Have demonstrable projects where you prototyped with Lovable, Cursor, or similar tools.
