The mission of the Head of Sales (HoS) is to establish Sales as a key driver of profitable growth for lemlist.

The HoS will lead and expand a global sales team, ensuring that Sales is a profitable channel for lemlist, and allows to reduce overall customer churn by securing new, more loyal accounts.

In order to achieve such results, the HoS will grow & maintain a team of high-performing Sales within France, EMEA, and the Americas.

Key Results:

Within 3 Months:

Gain deep product knowledge, capable of performing advanced demos.

Establish and implement a clear, universally understood sales process.

Participate in demos and customer meetings, positively influencing sales outcomes.

Implement sales rituals (daily standups, weekly pipeline reviews).

Develop a performance management process for the sales team.

Engage with hundreds of customers and prospects to deeply understand their needs.

Lead by example, demonstrating pragmatism and a bias for action.

Provide product feedback to prioritize features based on customer needs.

Ensure Sales team achieve targets.

Within 12 Months:

Scale the sales team while maintaining positive ROI.

Achieve net negative churn for sales-led customers.

Maintain a yearly growth churn of 20% or less for sales-led customers.

Secure 80%+ yearly contracts over monthly self-service deals.

Achieve an average contract value (ACV) of $500-$1000 MRR for sales-led deals.

Ensure high responsiveness to inbound leads.

Maintain 100%+ target achievement for the sales team on a quarterly and yearly basis.

Achieve a team eNPS of > 8/10 with excellent retention of top performers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the Software/SaaS domain.
  • Proven track record in cold outreach and cold email strategies.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a first-line manager, leading teams of 5+ members.
  • Expertise in high-velocity sales with ACVs ranging from $500 to $2K MRR.
  • A pragmatic, action-oriented approach with a proven ability to deliver results quickly.
  • Intellectual honesty, prioritizing the company's best interest and being a team player.
  • Exceptional sales skills, with expertise in prospecting, qualification, and negotiation.
  • A passionate advocate for the sales profession.
