Django is a growing fintech leading the French Buy Now Pay Later French market. In this environment as a QA in web / mobile environment, you will measure quality of apps and feature for our mobile app, backend and apis. While this role covers many areas of implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, the main focus will be helping the team to identify and resolve product issues.

Responsibilities :

• execute, and improve application test suites based on software requirements, technical specifications, test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing;

• Design and perform hands on test automation solutions and scripts using Cucumber / robot framework, and other technologies determined to best suit our needs;

• Test and respond to software QA issues with related groups such as Development, Database, Integration, and Customer Support;

• maintain QA environments along with build and deployments , co-ordinate production deployments and release planning;

• Participate in the coordination and monitoring of software development activities including all related meetings, walkthroughs, technical reviews, testing, and problem resolution;

• Keep abreast in understanding business domain and customer needs to constantly perform gap analysis and remediation in application test coverage;

• Define test data conditions and partners and works closely with Data team to obtain the data, ensure that the data is delivered with the expected format and structure (transformations);

• Contribute into project documentation and generate test reports for management;

• Adopt the practice of creating and planning for incidents and the responses to them;

• Manage, maintain QA environments along with build and deployments , co-ordinate production deployments and release planning;

• Experiment with new technologies, adapt them where needed, fix if needed, test your solution

• Work closely with the PM, CTO and a growing team to launch new features;

• Follow our agile methodology (scrum) and contribute to its improvement, help product owner, scrum master and CTO to manage project and sprint execution.

Technical environment :

Node.js, typescript, react native, react, gitlab, Postgresql, AWS.

Experience :

5+ years of experience as an QA;

Extensive QA Testing experience including full-stack testing, manual testing, and automated testing on web and data environment;

Proficient with formal testing processes, writing test cases and test scenarios (manual, automation, gherkin), and working with scripting languages and APIs;

Hands on experience working with testing frameworks, Selenium web driver, Cucumber, BDD or equivalent;

Hands on experience with RESTful API / Web Services testing via JSON and Framework is a must.

Experience in SQL a plus;

Deep understanding on Git/CI CD pipeline terminologies;

Demonstrated skills to cross functional teams, and proactively resolves issues and escalate appropriately;

A focus on continuous improvement and willingness to work across functions, with different subject matter experts;

Experience with distributed logging is a plus;

Fluent in French and English with good oral and written communication skills.
