Sitting in the Industry department, our team dedicated to Quality bears a lot of responsibility in our current matrix environment. Its members are dedicated to making sure our suppliers, processes, products, and systems are all following top notch quality guidelines, to ensure the best experience for our clients.

We are looking for a bright SQA Engineer to join the Quality team.

The position:

To contribute, develop, and improve the Supplier Quality Assurance processes of the Group (procedures, …) to ensure the quality of purchased components/goods and materials including raw materials and packaging delivered to each plant of the Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and work closely with each plant quality team to develop global suppliers or local top worst in: 

  • the follow-up of the initial validation of new or modified components (PPAP)

  • the relevant solving action plans implementation (8D report evaluation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action planning)

  • Collaborate with the SRM team of each commodity to develop the supplier strategy and integrate new strategic suppliers, take part of the selection, and lead initial qualification of suppliers through dedicated initial audits.

  • Participate in supplier review meetings with Purchasing Dept and operational teams to manage supplier performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing and developing structured quality improvement plans (risk analysis, monitoring plan, awareness sessions, …) in collaboration with suppliers to strengthen the overall performance and relationship.

  • Conduct supplier evaluations, surveillance audits of main suppliers or in troubles, and traceability audits.

  • Manage autonomously the quality performance of a commodity and train/develop the supplier panel to improve their quality system and to eliminate recurrent issues.

The candidate:

  • Bachelor Degree in Quality, Engineering or similar field required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a supplier quality position.

  • Proficiency in quality management concepts, tools, and methods (control plan, part PPAP, supplier audits)

  • Attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence.

  • Strong organizational skills, self-directed, and analytical mindset.

  • Positive work ethic with excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and persuasion abilities.

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Fluent in French and English
