About The Business Intelligence solution
Kyriba’s Business Intelligence solution leverages the power of Qlik Sense to bring fast and advanced analytics to our clients. It aims to significantly enhance Treasurers’ vision on their business and their ability to make smart decisions based upon facts and predictions. In order to deliver this value to a fast growing number of clients, the infrastructure and deployment of the solution has been automated by design. Our goal is to extend the scope of automation processes to provide new features, enhance the management of the solution and increase our agility.
Your mission
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for improving automation and development workflow by enforcing best practices and implementing or developing support tools and frameworks. You will provide solutions to speed up deliveries while maintaining a high level of quality. You will be a bridge between dashboard designers/developers and Data Architects to ensure consistency and reduce implementation delays.
Key responsibilities and duties
Analyze requirements and propose solution that will best ensure customer needs are met
Work closely with Product Owners and Data Architects to ensure specifications have been correctly interpreted and translated into the product
Establish best practices that will improve the quality and time of delivery of the new features
Develop frameworks and/or tools that will implement and enforce these best practices
Develop frameworks and/or tools that will enhance the monitoring and alerting capabilities of the solution
Communicate project status regularly to Project Manager and Product Manager
Ensure completion of operational and technical documentation prior to software release for each application or system
Adhere to project management best practices
Report work in JIRA
Your profile and qualifications
Software development (Java/Python) and Software Factory (Jenkins/Linux)
Analytical skills and be able to understand and interpret the underlying matters
High level of commitment for excellence
Working experience in an Agile environment
Desire to work with teams in multiple countries, across time zones
Professional working proficiency in English
Optional requirements
Experience as Qlik Sense consultant or developer
Technologies: Qlik Sense development and administration, RDBMs
Knowledge or experience about streaming platform such as Apache Kafka and Stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Spark Streaming is a plus
A first experience in Treasury Management would be appreciated
