As a Senior Data Scientist part of the Data Science team, you will work closely with your peers as well as with members of the product, business, and engineering teams. In an environment where technology and digital haven’t played all their cards yet, your work will directly contribute to shaping platforms that benefit patients, clinicians, and biologists; and has the potential to change healthcare fundamentally.
Your role and responsibilities will be to:
Build machine learning and deep learning algorithms leveraging hundreds of millions of test results to drive patients to better healthcare.
Drive the development of user-facing features leveraging the power of machine learning and deep learning, to enable patients to take back control of their medical journey.
Play a key role in deploying machine learning and deep learning algorithms to production.
Proactively engage with data to identify, pursue, and maximize research, business, and product opportunities.
Ensure reproducibility and sustainable quality of your work through clean code and proper documentation.
Keep yourself up-to-date with the latest machine learning and deep learning advancements.
Some of the main characteristics we’re looking for:
Master’s degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning…) and at least 4 years of work experience as a data scientist.
Advanced skills in statistics, probabilistic modeling and the core concepts of Machine Learning at large.
Experience in benchmarking large language models (LLMs), adept at navigating and optimizing the trade-offs between performance and product/technical requirements.
Expert in running complex projects from data exploration to production-grade code ready to be deployed in production.
Quick adaptation to new situations and problems with a strong learning mindset.
Driven individual contributor that not only works effectively within a team, balancing learning and delivery commitments, but also influences the team contributions, through mentoring of less senior team members.
Have a great team spirit; demonstrate proficiency in recognizing and building upon your teammates’ ideas, while constructively challenging them when appropriate.
Full professional working proficiency in French, English, Python and SQL.
Nice-to-have: experience in a healthcare/MedTech field.
