As our first Protocol Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Validators product and Kiln’s participation in several blockchain ecosystems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning the Kiln Validators protocols roadmap, deciding on which protocols we will support, why, and how, in partnership with the infra team

• Understanding the key staking mechanics of each protocol we support or are considering, and rallying the team and customers around a shared understanding of these mechanics

• Participating in governance on protocols Kiln is active on

• Representing Kiln in ecosystem events

• You will work closely with customers, sales teams, product, and the infrastructure team at Kiln to execute the Kiln Validators roadmap.

• Solidity for smart contract development

• Software in Golang with Javascript and Typescript

• Communication between services is done using HTTP Rest and most of our databases are backed by PostgreSQL

• Everything runs in EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) on AWS

Skills & background

• You have an engineering, tech product, BI, or research analyst background, ideally in a Fintech or Web3 company

• You have a first experience around crypto (professional / taking courses / serious side-projects showing your genuine interest)

• You have product acumen and can put yourself in the shoes of both a retail and B2B user in the staking space

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment

• Fluent both in French and English
