Joko was started by Xavier Starkloff, Alexandre Hollocou and Nicolas Salat-Baroux in 2018 and since then, their team has reached a lot of milestones:

Job description

We are looking for talented people who are willing to build the strongest commercial division to drive a lot of value for retailers and consumers while keeping growing their own skills and expertise.

As Head of Sales, you main mission will be to scale the commercial activity of Joko in France. We are entering a new phase of our growth and we are hiring an experimented sales to bring us to the next level in terms of commercial strategy, level of relationships with retailers and agencies, hiring, values of contracts, etc. You will report to the co-founder in charge of the B2B.

Your responsibilities:

  • Sign commercial partnerships with key accounts in Retail
  • Develop relationships with marketing directors and agencies at top levels
  • Significally increase the average deal size
  • Develop a profitable & scalable sales process
  • Hire & grow a team able to achieve ambitious goals
  • Report on performances, analyse them and expose sales strategies to the founders and investors
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams

Preferred experience

  • Experience: You have at least 6-7 years of experience in Sales or Account Management in a start-up or company selling marketing campaigns
  • Space: You have the experience of selling to marketing directors
  • Management: You managed a strong commercial team
  • Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are able to explain something complex with simple words.
  • Languages: You are fluent in English both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally soon.
  • Education: You graduated from a top engineering or business school (or equivalent).
