Descriptif du poste

Do you have a strong enthusiasm for cancer research, exploring the foundational aspects of oncogenesis, gaining expertise in genome editing, and advancing towards innovative therapies?

Join the dynamic team at the Genome Dynamics in the Immune System lab at Imagine Institute - INSERM U1163 in Paris to work in the group of Dr. E. Brunet. We are currently seeking a motivated postdoctoral fellow to contribute to a cutting-edge project targeting ALK positive Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) cells with innovative approaches.

Advancing Precision Therapies for ALK+ ALCL:  project overview

Dive into groundbreaking research focused on Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL), an aggressive T lymphoma, particularly affecting young adults and children. Our team is dedicated to unraveling the intricate molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, employing state-of-the-art omics approaches, and decoding the molecular landscape of ALK+ ALCL.

  • Decoding the Molecular Landscape: understand the complexities of oncogenic pathways using CRISPR/Cas9 approaches, integrative Omics, going beyond the surface to delve deep into molecular intricacies driving tumor formation ;

  • Identifying a Promising Target: pinpoint a promising cell surface receptor, opening up a unique avenue for therapeutic intervention and offering alternative effective treatments for ALK+ ALCL therapy resistant disease ;

  • Treatment Approaches: leverage the potent capabilities of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T (CART) cells and pioneering Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) to craft a multi-faceted approach towards transformative therapies ;

  • Collaborative Innovation: collaborate with French experts, including clinicians, pooling collective knowledge and patient data to pave unravel lymphomagenesis.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Investigate the most effective therapeutic strategy (CART or ADC) to selectively eliminate ALK+ ALCL cells ;

  • Collaborate with dynamic and passionate teams ;

  • Contribute to a PLBIO-INCA granted project (French Research Cancer Institute) ;

  • Become part of the vibrant community of emerging researchers at the Imagine Institute in Paris, situated in the heart of the city ;
