We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and manage our portfolio of free online educational programs, primarily in INCO Academy programs across the Asia Pacific region and work together with operational teams to ensure delivery of efficient, impactful work. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of INCO Academy programs, which are generously funded by corporate donors expecting measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and educational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead a successful implementation of portfolio projects end-to-end (45%)
Program implementation oversight:
Work together with your team on effective program design and implementation process (including developing courses content, researching providers, designing internal processes and communication flows).
Plan and manage workflows of your teams to ensure the successful delivery of programmatic targets.
Drive strategic and operational progress of the projects by providing hands on guidance to the implementing team.
Plan and oversee the delivery of project tasks and ensure thorough project documentation.
Ensure the highest quality of educational content and delivery by implementing quality assurance processes.
Program Monitoring and Evaluation:
Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of programs to ensure they meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver the desired outcomes.
Collect, analyze, and compile program performance data on ongoing programs; report to your manager and program donors in a structured and actionable manner.
Coordinate the implementation of robust evaluation frameworks and use data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between our organization, corporate donors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
Prepare and present detailed reports on program progress, outcomes, and impact to donors and other key stakeholders.
Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to inform and facilitate program-focused conversations with funders and partners.
Ensure efficient communication between your teams and internal support teams (communication, finance, L&D), to enable swift delivery of activities required for your programs.
Resource Management and Budget Oversight:
Manage your program’s financial and human resources efficiently to ensure effective program delivery.
Develop and oversee program budgets (including cost sheet ownership), manage project timelines, and ensure that programs are delivered within scope and budget.
People: recruit, onboard and manage your teams 50%
Lead, develop, and evaluate assigned staff; ensure staff receive regular constructive performance feedback, prompt resolution of problems, and the time and opportunity to grow professionally.
Set clear responsibilities, timelines, and objectives for all team members. Manage your team’s key objectives, and track their progress and performance against these indicators.
Identify recruitment and staffing needs for new and existing projects, in alignment with program budgets set by your managers.
Define new roles and responsibilities for hires or internal mobility, build job descriptions and support HR team to advertise openings where necessary.
Participate in interviewing incoming applicants.
Onboard new team members.
Growth: support identifying and pursuing transversal internal growth and external funding opportunities 5%
Work together with the leadership team to identify opportunities for operational improvement and standardization, as well as implementation of transversal activities for team development.
Identify market gaps and areas where INCO Academy could bring value to the European ecosystem.
Build ecosystem relationships .
Assist in facilitating the ‘landing’ of new projects in Europe, ie the transition from proposal to implementation.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in implementing projects in complex ecosystem, ideally in the Asia Pacific region.
Success track in managing corporate stakeholders and building partner relationships by delivering excellent operational results.
Minimum four years of demonstrated experience managing teams and working cross-functionally with other teams.
High digital collaboration literacy and ability to manage complex projects, high-level stakeholders and to provide hands on guidance to the teams via tools such as Slack, Monday.com, Notion, G-Suite.
English on a professional work level is a must; a second language in Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Demonstrated versatility, and integrity.
Passion for education, technology, sustainability, or social entrepreneurship is a strong plus.
This is a full-time job, on a contractor basis.
