Responsibilities:

As a Financial Controller you’ll take on a broad and hands-on role within the finance team. Your key duties will include :

• Tracking down and collecting missing supporting documents (invoices, purchase orders, etc.).

• Preparing bank payments

• Invoicing customers and monitoring their payments

• Ensuring accurate month-end closings and proper cost allocations.

• Analyzing financial performance vs targets

• Assisting the VP Finance in preparing reporting on a monthly basis

• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Participating in the improvement of internal financial processes and tools

• Willing and able to take over basic accounting tasks such as AP, AR, bank, accruals, prepaid expenses, etc. in the near to mid future (accounting remains outsourced for now)

Required Skills

• Fluency in English/French

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, etc.).

• 2/3 years of professional experience

• Understanding of financial statements and reporting

• Financial analysis and budget tracking

• Proficiency in Excel

• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software

• Basic accounting knowledge
