MISSIONS

Under the reporting line of the managing director:

Strategic Leadership
• Develop and oversee integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and 360 marketing campaign.
• Provide thought leadership digital transformation and innovation within the agency.
• Evaluate and select external suppliers and partners, ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient solutions that support effective campaign execution and maintain margins objectives for the agency.
• Contribute to new business development, including pitches and proposals.
• Actively participate in board meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to ensure smooth operations, strong cross-team collaboration, and alignment with the agency’s development goals and HQ strategy.

Campaign Management
• Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel campaigns (SEM, social media, display advertising, influencer marketing, content marketing, etc.).
• Optimize and internalize ad booking processes
• Build and maintain a database of vetted influencers who can be activated under preferred conditions to ensure agility, cost-efficiency and consistency in campaign execution.
• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to track performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality and effectiveness across all deliverables.

Team Management
• Build, mentor, and inspire a performing digital marketing team including conducting annual appraisals to ensure consistent quality standards, and drive team development.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between digital, PR, finance and account teams.
• Facilitate conflict resolution within the digital team and across departments to ensure smooth collaboration and a positive work environment.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.


Profil recherché

REQUIRED JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Communications, or related field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in digital marketing campaign management in Japan.
• Proven track record of successfully leading digital campaigns for brands or associations in Japan.
• Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
• Experience working with international brands and cross-border campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, competitors and trends.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI marketing tools, programmatic advertising. CRM tools.
• Certification in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Certified, Facebook Blueprint) is a plus.

PERSONAL SKILLS

• Native Japanese and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, additional languages such as French, Italian or Spanish are a plus
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead multiple projects and multiple clients at the same time.
• People management experience,
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Budget and schedule management, field operation ability
• Flexibility and ability to rework/adapt concepts according to clients’ needs and expectations.
