🌟 YOUR ROLE WILL BE

  • Collaborate on achieving the best design/architecture for our systems and infrastructure.
  • Analyze our system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
  • Understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure coding, network security, access controls, and vulnerability management.
  • Challenges solutions to always find the better resiliency, reliability, security, performance and main tenability of his work.
  • Expertise in setting up and managing monitoring and alerting systems to track the health and performance of critical infrastructure components.

    • 🌟 YOUR MISSION WILL BE

  • Be on an on-call (PagerDuty) rotation to respond to incidents that impact Hivebrite customer's availability, and provide support for your engineers mates.
  • Run our infrastructure with Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes. 🐋
  • Plan with your team the future of Hivebrite's infrastructure (enhance our deployments, be the guardians of our guidelines,...).
  • Run a blameless meeting (post-mortem, sprints reviews) to look for answers that will prevent the incident from ever happening again.
  • Work effectively with other teams, such as development and operations teams, and be able to collaborate to solve complex problems.

    • 🌟 YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby, as well as proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for automating tasks and building tooling.
  • Solid technical infrastructures skills (Terraform, K8s, Docker, GCP).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) - ideally Terraform, but similar are useful (CloudFormation etc.)
  • Advanced level on CI platforms (Buildkite, GitHub actions) and CD pipeline management tools (Argo CD, Spinnaker etc.).
  • Strong communication and stress management skills.
  • Ability and openness to learn, fail, reflect and apply learnings moving forward (individual level).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English. 🇺🇸
