Senior Backend Engineer @Marble

Marble develops a fraud and compliance decision engine for fintechs and financial institutions.

Our no-code rule builder allows business teams to create their risk scenarios easily in order to identify suspicious behaviors in real-time.

Marble was founded in 2022 by Arnaud (CEO) and is backed by Camille from startup studio Logic Founders, Hexa’s Fintech studio. The team is growing fast, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join the adventure!

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to grow our team. You will report directly to our CTO/cofounder. This is a unique opportunity to join Marble early, shape the product and take big responsibilities. You will:

• Become a founding member of the tech team, and grow with it,

• Participate in building a powerful no code data engine,

• Help enforce and maintain a high quality codebase,

• Take part in designing an efficient release and deployment process and setting up a strong SecIT culture throughout the team,

• Teach and learn from your teammates.

• Backend: Go

• Frontend: React, Typescript

• Infra: GCP, PostgreSQL, Serverless containers (Cloud Run), event-driven architecture

• Monitoring: Datadog

• Version control: Github

An ideal candidate:

• Is comfortable in an early-stage startup environment, where things move fast and change quickly

• Has a minimum of 3+ years of backend software engineer experience

• Has professional experience with Go and relational databases (incl. SQL)

• Has a clear idea of the target system design & architecture before jumping into the code, and ideally experience with clean/hexagonal architecture

• Has a creative mindset and is rigorous when executing

• Some DevOps/SRE experience is a strong plus!
