For more than 150 years, John Lobb has prided itself in upholding the highest standards and levels of craftsmanship and design in the creation of hand-made shoes and boots for men.

A company of the Hermes group since 1976, the bespoke footwear is still hand-crafted in our workshop in Paris while the ready to wear collections are manufactured in our Northampton factory.

John Lobb owns a global distribution network that includes twenty stores established in eight countries and works with a highly selective network of partners and authorized retailers around the world.

 

Context:

We are seeking for an experienced Communication & Community Manager to join our HQ Paris office 

able to work on 360° projects (contents creation, events) and on the John Lobb community development in aim to improve the brand awareness and its business.

The profile we are looking for is someone who likes to be innovative, culturally curious, who thinks out-of-the-box with an entrepreneurship mindset, with strong focus on up-to-date trends. 

A person who is connected to international networks linked to the art, craft, new trends and menswear fashion universes. 

Responsabilities:

 

1/ CONTENTS

- Managing multiple projects and meeting key deadlines to ensure successful brand delivery (photos, videos, special projects).

- Suggest the good partners and talents.

- Build the briefs, the projects and budget follow up files and the production/postproduction guidelines.

- Liaise with the local markets in aim to maintain a good comprehension of the tools uses and to understand their needs.

 

2/ EVENTS AND BRAND ANIMATION 

- Event management from concept to D-day organization.

- International scope: corporate and retail events.

- Sourcing the partners, the agencies and the production elements.

- Windows projects management: design agencies and implementation.

 

3/ COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL MEDIAS

- Creation of a strong community and influence dynamic (PR, social medias, retail).

- Identify and liaise with the talents.

- Social medias management (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest…).

- KPIs implementation, reporting and benchmark.

 

4/ PR

- Liaise and daily work with our press agencies (international network).

- Press showrooms organization.

- Digital PR strategy creation.

- Samples press management, reporting.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience (min of 5/7 years) in communication and contents projects.
  • Project and production management skills: quality/costs/timings.
  • PR and community management skills.
  • Great understanding of social media platforms (both Western and Eastern).
  • Event management experiences.
  • An experience in the menswear/premium/luxury/art/craft design industries is welcome.
  • International profile. Bilingual/Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Copywriting skills.
  • Able to work in a global operational way in a human-size company.
  • UK / British culture and talents network would be a plus.
  • Graphic design (print/digital) skills would be a plus. 

 

Contract type: CDI / Permanent.

Some international and UK travels to be planned within the year.
